Why Should Families Celebrate Advent

Introducing tradition is vital in the life of a family.  Perhaps if you have young children they will not fully understand the lessons you are teaching them in the traditions you develop, but in time, they will not only understand as the tradition is repeated, they will anticipate the tradition.  This is one of many reasons we should begin, or continue, the tradition of Advent during the Christmas season, to stir longing in their hearts and minds for Jesus, teaching them to adore Him.
